Missions

Being Christ's hands and feet in Charleston and around the world

We know that it is important to live out our faith through missions. Locally, we’ve worked the elderly, the disabled, and children in need.

Spring Break Mission Trip
March 11-18, 2012
Cost: $150

Come join us as we help out the Habitat for Humanity group in Lucedale, Mississippi! We will be helping to build a home for a family in need! The beach and various shopping areas are less than an hour away! We will have a day for sight seeing, and then five days of hard work building a home for a deserving family in need. A $20 deposit to due ASAP.

The 2011 Spring Break Mission trip was to Dulac, Louisiana to work with the Dulac Community Center.

In 2010, Alabama Rural Ministry was our host agency as we served those in need in the Auburn/Tuskegee area of Alabama. The week included lots of home repair and visiting local historical sites.

Past trips have included:
Hurricane Katrina clean-up in Pascagoula and VanCleave, Mississippi
Washington DC
Urban Plunge in Denver

Christmas break 2008-09 we took a trip to Monrovia, Liberia to help build the Bishop Taylor Youth Center and to work with the young people displaced by the recent civil conflict.
